Fascial Stretch Therapy by a Registered Massage Therapist
Fascial Stretch Therapy is a holistic approach to addressing muscular pain, reduced flexibility, stiffness, and scar tissue among other issues.
It is comprised of an assisted stretching system where the practitioner will move the clients through a range of movements focusing on the muscles and connective tissue that surround and encompass the joints.
It has been shown to improve athletic performance, improve flexibility and help prevent injury.
Fascia is a fibrous connective tissue that is present throughout and surrounds the muscles, bones, and joints of the human body. When fascia becomes restricted it can lead to conditions such as osteoarthritis, decreased blood flow to an area or muscle, scar tissue formation, headaches, and tendinopathies.
A stretch therapy treatment is done on the table where the client is fully dressed in athletic or stretchy attire.
